Job Description

A Technical Writer is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining documentation related to technical processes, products, and services. Responsibilities

  • Create clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation for various audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather information.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates for documentation processes and products.
  • Edit, clarity-check, and proofread technical documents to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
  • Stay updated with technology trends and integrate them into the documentation strategy.
  • Manage multiple documentation projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines.
  • Conduct usability testing to improve documentation quality and audience understanding.
  • Review and update existing documentation to reflect current product versions or features.
  • Ensure all documentation is easily accessible and organized for various stakeholders.
  • Work with graphic designers and other team members to create multimedia elements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them effectively.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker and MS Word.
  • Strong organization and time management capabilities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with content management systems and knowledge base software.
