We are seeking a Technical Product Owner who is eager to learn, highly organized, and motivated to grow within a fast-moving e-learning and SaaS environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who wants broad exposure across product, engineering, and design, while operating in a supportive, low-risk, low-ownership environment. You will work closely under the guidance of senior product and technical leaders, assisting with backlog refinement, requirement gathering, documentation, and day-to-day coordination.
You will not be expected to own high-level strategy or lead major product decisions—rather, you will support the team in delivering well-defined features, learning best practices, and gradually building confidence in product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Product Support & Coordination
Assist with refining user stories, documenting requirements, and organizing the product backlog.
Support senior product leaders in translating ideas and user feedback into clear specifications.
Help prepare sprint materials, including acceptance criteria, task breakdowns, and definitions of done.
Maintain product documentation, release notes, and internal knowledge bases.
Technical Awareness (Guided by Senior Team Members)
Work with engineers and the CTO to understand technical constraints, platform behavior, and implementation considerations.
Participate in technical discussions primarily as an observer/recorder—learning how solutions are assessed and planned.
Review merge requests at a high level only when guided by senior technical stakeholders.
Ensure team alignment on version control workflows and basic SDLC processes.
Cross-Functional Exposure
Collaborate with design, engineering, QA, and operations to support smooth execution of sprints.
Help facilitate (but not lead) sprint ceremonies—refinements, planning, retrospectives—shadowing senior product owners.
Assist with clarifying requirements, managing documentation, and handling small internal dependencies.
User Feedback, Research & Insights
Gather user feedback from support tickets, surveys, and analytics tools and summarize patterns for the team.
Support user research initiatives by preparing notes, organizing findings, and documenting insights.
Delivery Tracking (Low Ownership)
Monitor progress of assigned tickets and help ensure they have the correct details and status in project management tools.
Flag potential risks or blockers to senior product leadership.
Assist in quality assurance by verifying acceptance criteria and ensuring smooth handoff to QA.
Learning & Skill Development
Adopt product and engineering best practices as mentored by the CTO, senior developers, and senior product owners.
Learn modern SaaS product processes, Agile methodologies, and digital delivery pipelines.
Explore new tools (AI productivity, documentation automation, etc.) under supervision.
Qualifications
Experience
1-2 years in a product, project coordination, junior technical role, or similar support position.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum processes is a plus but not required.
Experience collaborating with designers or engineers is helpful but not mandatory.
Technical Proficiency (Foundational)
Basic understanding of software development concepts (e.g., APIs, front-end vs. back-end, databases).
Familiarity with Git or any version control system is a plus, not a requirement.
Curiosity and willingness to learn technical concepts quickly.
Product & Organizational Skills
Comfortable writing simple user stories, notes, or basic requirements.
Experience using tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Notion, Trello, or similar is helpful.
Strong attention to detail and structured communication.
Soft Skills
Eager to learn, open to feedback, and comfortable asking questions.
Strong communicator who can simplify and organize information.
Reliable, proactive, and able to stay calm when dealing with multiple tasks.
Collaborative mindset—comfortable working across departments and taking direction from senior leaders.
