Overview

We are seeking a highly organized TaxDome Accounting Assistant to support a US-based CPA firm with administrative workflow management, client coordination, and TaxDome operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced accounting environment.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: USD 1484

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST (1-hour unpaid break)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note:

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidate must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are based on hourly rates and will depend on performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks in TaxDome, including:
  • Email and chat triage
  • Organizing incoming documents
  • Creating folders, assigning jobs and tasks
  • Following up on pending items
  • Monitor project pipelines in TaxDome and advance jobs as information becomes available.
  • Support partners with calendar management, scheduling, meeting coordination, and task organization.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure task completion and maintain accountability within the team.
  • Handle confidential client information with strict adherence to security and data protection standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the CPA firm’s team to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Communicate with clients, request missing information, and ensure timely responses.


Requirements

  • Proficiency with TaxDome and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of administrative experience (experience in professional services or accounting preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask efficiently.
  • Familiarity with US accounting practices and tax preparation processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home-office setup (dual monitors preferred).
