Job Role Summary/Overview

Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to manage our supply chain operations and order processing systems in this combined role that offers variety and growth potential. You’ll handle both logistics coordination and order management for our expanding network, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations as we continue scaling our business nationally and internationally.


Job Highlights

  • Paid Hours per Week: 40 hours
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am-6 pm | Queensland (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer demands.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align supply chain activities accordingly.
  • Monitor supply chain performance through key performance indicators and develop actionable insights for improvement.
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.


Requirements

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or order management
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and logistics processes simultaneously
  • Problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
