Job Description

GlobeCommerce is a tech-enabled brokerage headquartered in New York City and operating remotely around the world. We make it easy for the world’s best international brands and suppliers to reach, partner, and transact with America’s leading retailers—like Costco, Walmart, Target, and TJX.

We’re built on the belief that the most successful companies aren’t always those with the best products, but those with the strongest operational capabilities. Through modern technology, great talent, and a global supplier base, we eliminate operational complexities, delivering better products with more compelling values to the end consumer.

Tasks

You will oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient movement of products from suppliers to retailers. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of retailer-specific requirements are critical for success. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in international supply chain management or logistics.

Fulfillment & Logistics

Process and manage dropship and B2B purchase orders accurately and on time.

  • Monitor retailer portals daily for new orders, changes, and exceptions.

  • Coordinate order execution end-to-end with suppliers, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure on-time fulfillment.

  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments across a network of U.S. 3PLs to ensure timely, efficient delivery.

  • Ensure shipments meet retailer routing guides and compliance requirements to prevent delays, chargebacks, and disruptions.

  • Route orders to meet delivery windows while optimizing transit time and cost.

  • Manage freight brokers/carriers to secure reliable, cost-effective transportation solutions.

  • Track performance against SLAs and address service failures through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Identify and implement cost and process improvements while maintaining service quality.

  • Resolve PO and fulfillment discrepancies (e.g., pricing, quantities, ship dates, shortages/damages) with retailers, suppliers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders.

Inventory Management

Maintain inventory accuracy across multiple U.S. warehouses.

  • Lead reconciliations and resolve inventory discrepancies.

  • Prevent stockouts and overstock through demand and sales analysis.

  • Take ownership of managing product information, ensuring accuracy and completeness in our systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with internal teams across the US and Philippines, and coordinate closely with suppliers globally to support supplier and retailer programs.

  • Support item setup, new product onboarding, and compliance updates.

  • Act as a key point of contact for logistics and inventory escalations.

What You’ll Learn

How leading U.S. retailers actually operate — hands-on experience with routing guides, compliance rules, OTIF expectations, chargebacks, and the operational excellence required to win with retailers like Costco, Walmart, Target, and TJX.

  • End-to-end order execution at scale — how to run dropship and B2B flows from PO intake → warehouse execution → freight → delivery confirmation, including exception handling and escalations.

  • How to manage a modern U.S. fulfillment network — partnering with 3PLs, carriers, and freight brokers while driving SLA performance, cost control, and continuous improvement.

  • Inventory fundamentals that move the needle — reconciliation, root-causing discrepancies, and building the operating rhythms that prevent stockouts/overstocks across multiple warehouses.

  • Operational problem-solving in real time — diagnosing issues across retailers, warehouses, carriers, and systems; communicating clearly; and driving issues to resolution with urgency and structure.

  • How cross-functional, global execution works — collaborating daily with internal teams across the US and Philippines and coordinating with suppliers around the world to align timelines, documentation, specs, and compliance requirements.

  • How a tech-enabled brokerage scales — exposure to building processes and systems early, where your input directly shapes how GlobeCommerce runs day-to-day.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on US East Coast hours.

  • 5-12 years of experience in consumer goods supply chain, logistics, or order-to-delivery operations.

  • Experience working in an international environment (e.g., global suppliers, cross-border logistics, or distributed teams).

What We’re Looking For

Detail-obsessed operator who takes pride in getting orders, inventory, and data exactly right.

  • Strong cross-cultural communicator who works smoothly with internal teams in the US/PH and suppliers globally.

  • Retailer-fluent executor who understands routing guides, compliance requirements, and how to prevent chargebacks and service failures.

  • Analytical problem-solver who can spot patterns in order/inventory data and drive root-cause fixes.

  • Calm under pressure, able to prioritize quickly and manage multiple fast-moving escalations at once.

  • Ownership mindset—proactive, accountable, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a growing company.

  • Process-driven builder who documents workflows, improves SLAs, and scales repeatable systems.

  • Tech-comfortable and systems-oriented, able to collaborate with Ops/Tech to improve tools, automation, and data quality.

This role is a strong fit for someone who’s run execution in a structured supply chain environment and wants more ownership and pace—or someone from a high-growth consumer brand who enjoys being the hub between retailers, warehouses, and global suppliers.

This Role Is Probably Not for You If…

You prefer highly structured roles with clearly defined processes.

  • You rely on deep layers of resourcing and support.

  • You’re uncomfortable owning outcomes with autonomy.
