Job Description

The Supply Chain Head in the FMCG sector is a pivotal role that ensures the seamless movement and management of goods from suppliers to customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals across multiple functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry, governmental, and company standards and regulations.
  • Implement risk management frameworks to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Utilize data analytics to optimize inventory levels and forecast demand accurately.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain to reduce environmental impact.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Coordinate with production teams to streamline the flow of materials through the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management in the FMCG sector.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for negotiating with suppliers and interfacing with executives.
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain management software is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate strategically while managing day-to-day operations efficiently.
