SU - 3D Animator

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a 3D Animator at a dynamic creative agency. The 3D Animator will be responsible for creating high-quality animations for various projects, including films, games, advertisements, and digital content. The ideal candidate will collaborate with designers, directors, and other creatives to bring ideas to life through engaging and visually stunning 3D animations.

Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in 3D animation, preferably in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D animation software such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, character rigging, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with texturing, lighting, and rendering for realistic and stylized animations.
• Knowledge of motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A keen eye for detail, creativity, and artistic expression.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and projects (required).

Responsibilities

Animation Development:

• Design and create high-quality 3D animations for a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with creative teams to interpret storyboards and conceptual designs.

Rigging & Modeling:

• Create or adjust character rigs to ensure fluid and realistic movements.
• Model and texture 3D assets when required for animation projects.

Rendering & Post-Production:

• Apply lighting and rendering techniques to enhance animation quality.
• Work with post-production teams to finalize projects.

Team Collaboration:

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling.
• Revise animations based on feedback from clients and creative leads.

Technical Optimization:

• Ensure animations meet technical specifications and run efficiently on various platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in the animation process.

Compensation

• $2,000 - $3,500 per month, paid in USD depending on experience and expertise.
