About the Role

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing multiple technical projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, handle change requests efficiently, and ensure effective risk mitigation. This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

What youll do

Project & Delivery Management

• Monitor client Jira boards and translate tickets into actionable tasks
• Manage internal task boards (Trello) and stay on top of deadlines
• Coordinate across multiple projects and retainers based on priority
• Track progress and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Releases & QA Ownership

• Manage weekly releases with the lead developer
• Coordinate QA testing and ensure tickets are properly validated
• Perform final checks on production before assigning work to clients
• Ensure quality is high and issues are caught early

Client Communication

• Work directly with clients via Slack, Jira, and email
• Clarify requirements and turn vague requests into clear actions
• Provide regular updates and manage expectations
• You should be comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders (e.g. marketing teams).

Technical Coordination

• Work closely with developers on implementation
• Understand GitHub workflows (pull requests, commits)
• Use browser dev tools to investigate issues
• Read logs (e.g. New Relic) and translate problems into clear dev briefs
• You don’t need to code full-time, but you should understand what’s happening technically.

Light Technical Execution (When Needed)

• If developers are overloaded, make simple fixes yourself using tools like Claude
• Help unblock the team rather than waiting

UX & Product Thinking

• Review features and flows with a strong UX and usability mindset
• Spot issues, edge cases, and poor logic early
• Suggest simple, practical improvements

What you Bring

• 5+ years experience managing digital/web/app/software projects
• Strong communication skills (client-facing, clear, structured)
• Experience working with developers and non-technical clients
• Solid understanding of Web development workflows APIs and integrations and GitHub (PRs, commits)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in hospitality, travel, or booking systems
• Exposure to AI tools or automation workflows
• Experience with kanban style of working
