Who You Are

We’re looking for a curious and motivated Software Engineer who enjoys solving problems and creating smart, simple automations that make work easier. You’ll join our newly formed Automation squad, helping to build tools and features that enhance Humanforce’s internal customer experience, automation, and AI initiatives.

You’ll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and our Applied Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to help automate processes, build integrations, and improve how we deliver support to customers. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in modern development practices, automation frameworks, and AI-driven engineering, all while working in a supportive and fast-moving environment.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to automation and integrations across Humanforce and third-party systems (e.g. Zendesk, Confluence).
  • Develop secure, user-friendly internal tools and services.
  • Implement API calls, webhooks, and data flows.
  • Work with product and senior engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile team activities.
  • Learn and grow through mentorship, experimentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Need

  • A solid foundation in software development principles and practices.
  • Some experience with TypeScript/Node.js for APIs or backend development.
  • Exposure to JavaScript/React/Next.js or similar frameworks for front-end development.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn about cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Interest in automation, integrations, and AI technologies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a growth mindset and a desire to keep learning.

Some ‘nice-to-haves’

  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n, Workato).
  • Experience integrating APIs or working with data pipelines.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices (e.g. GitHub Actions, Terraform).
  • Comfort collaborating with designers using tools like Figma.
