This is a 100% remote position

About Your New Role

As a Software Architect, your primary mandate is to help turn product ideas into revenue-driving, production-ready software, fast and at scale. You’ll design and evolve the architecture behind our core products, ensuring systems support rapid launches, customer growth, and ongoing monetization without slowing the business down.

You’ll be hands-on in the code while defining architectural patterns that maximize time-to-market, reliability, and reuse across teams. This role requires strong product judgment: understanding which technical decisions directly impact customer experience, pricing flexibility, scalability, and operational efficiency.

A critical part of the role is leveraging agentic development tools to increase output per engineer. You’ll help operationalize AI-assisted workflows, internal agents, and automation to shorten development cycles, reduce rework, and accelerate iteration based on real customer feedback.

You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering leaders to ensure architecture decisions align with go-to-market priorities, support new product lines, and scale efficiently as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the system architecture across backend services, APIs, and data layers
• Design scalable, maintainable solutions using PHP, Python, and Go, selecting the right tool for the job
• Establish architectural patterns, coding standards, and best practices across teams
• Lead adoption of agentic development workflows (AI-assisted coding, autonomous agents, internal tooling) to accelerate delivery
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Guide teams on performance, reliability, security, and scalability tradeoffs
• Review critical code paths and designs while staying hands-on with implementation where it matters
• Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical force multiplier across the org
• Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.
  
  

What Youll Need For Success

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with time spent in an architectural or senior technical leadership role
• Deep experience building production systems in PHP, Python, and Go
• Proven experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
• Hands-on experience with agentic development tools, such as:
• AI-assisted IDEs (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, etc.)
• LLM-driven workflows, internal agents, or automation frameworks
• Using AI to improve code quality, testing, refactoring, or system design
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices
• Ability to balance speed and rigor in a fast-moving, product-focused environment
