Job Description:

You’ll be the creative force behind viral video content that converts views into real revenue. Working with raw footage from film sets, industry events, and behind-the-scenes moments, you’ll have the creative freedom to develop compelling hooks and produce high-volume content. This isn’t just about editing – you’ll own the creative process, understand the brand voice, and help build a sustainable content machine that drives workshop enrollments and film rental revenue.

Job Highlights:

• Hourly Rate: USD 11, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 35-40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm or 9 am -5 pm. Long Beach, California
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Execute high-volume video production (target: 80-100 assets/mo), including hooks and captions.
• Develop compelling hooks and engaging content with viral potential across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Take full creative ownership and deeply understand the client’s brand voice and messaging
• Respond quickly to algorithm changes and capitalize on trending content opportunities
• Transform behind-the-scenes footage, event content, and recorded material into engaging social media content
• Focus specifically on creating content that converts views into revenue for high-ticket workshops and film rentals
• Collaborate on weekly content planning and make real-time strategy adjustments based on performance
• Maintain consistent posting schedules across multiple platforms while chasing trends and algorithm changes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing and social media content creation with demonstrable results
• Portfolio showing ability to create viral or high-performing content that drives engagement and conversions
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trending content, and platform-specific best practices
• Proficiency with video editing software and content creation tools
• Ability to work independently, take creative ownership, and thrive with dynamic personalities
• Results-oriented mindset with focus on conversion metrics and revenue generation
• Bonus if you have experience working with coaches, creators, or the entertainment industry content
• It helps if you can demonstrate taking a client from low engagement/revenue to significant growth
