Social Media Specialist Podcast

Overview

Join a dynamic podcasting business dedicated to authenticity and unfiltered storytelling. You will play a pivotal role in transforming long-form content into viral-ready assets while managing a complete digital presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 12 pm – 4 pm Eastern Time

Responsibilities

• Senior Video Editing: Perform high-level manual edits on podcast episodes (60-90 minutes). Must ensure professional audio leveling, color grading, and creative pacing with a one-day turnaround for first drafts.
• Platform Distribution: Manage full distribution via Buzzsprout (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.).
• Content Repurposing: Strategically extract and edit high-quality short-form assets (TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts) using Opus Clip and manual polish.
• Social Media Management: Lead the digital presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including scheduling, engagement, and community management.
• Asset Management: Maintain strict organization of all content assets in Dropbox.
• Direct Collaboration: Coordinate directly with the host regarding creative vision and daily availability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in manual video/audio editing and content creation.
• Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. (Note: CapCut-only experience will not be considered for this senior role).
• Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio showcasing high-quality long-form podcast edits and viral-ready short-form content.
• Software Familiarity: Proven experience with Buzzsprout, Dropbox, and AI tools like Opus Clip.
• Communication: Comfortable with direct Zoom screen sharing and high-level creative alignment.

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
