Overview:

We are scaling our packaged food goods brand and need a professional with 3+ years of experience to lead our Instagram and TikTok content strategy. You will collaborate directly with our founder on influencer outreach, community management, and short-form video optimization to drive retail brand awareness.

Schedule: 20h per week - flexible schedule but meetings based on EST

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage engaging social media content across Instagram and TikTok.
• Edit long-form raw video footage into multiple short-form videos optimized for social platforms.
• Maintain brand consistency and voice across all community interactions.
• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and inbound leads daily.
• Research and conduct outreach to relevant influencers to support brand awareness.
• Repurpose content strategically across platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
• Support intensive marketing campaign pushes with increased content output.
• Collaborate directly with the founder on content strategy and brand direction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management and content creation.
• Strong video editing skills with a focus on short-form social media formats. (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
• Solid understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and platform best practices.
• High level of attention to detail and strong visual storytelling ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Bonus if you have experience in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
• It helps if you have experience with influencer outreach and community management.
