Job Description: You’ll be the marketing brain behind two distinctive food-themed businesses, working directly with an experienced entrepreneur who knows her products inside and out but needs your digital expertise to reach more customers. This role offers creative freedom to develop strategies across multiple business lines while making a real impact on a small business’s growth trajectory. You’ll work with visually appealing, unique products that stand out in the market and have proven holiday sales success.


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $8.03 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: Flexible 20-25 hours a week

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Create and manage comprehensive social media content calendars for both businesses
  • Develop engaging visual content including reels, videos, and posts optimized for Instagram and Pinterest
  • Drive organic traffic and lead generation to Shopify store through strategic social media campaigns
  • Build brand awareness and exposure across multiple platforms while maintaining consistent food-themed branding
  • Generate leads and convert social media engagement into actual sales
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner to align marketing strategies with business goals
  • Manage posting schedules and community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Develop creative campaigns for seasonal product launches and market events
  • Track performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement and conversion data


Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media marketing with demonstrated results in lead generation and sales conversion
  • Strong skills in creating visual content (reels, videos, posts) specifically for Instagram and Pinterest (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Experience with organic social media growth strategies and community building
  • Knowledge of e-commerce marketing and driving traffic to online stores like Shopify
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with business owner
  • Creative mindset for developing engaging content around unique, food-themed products
  • Bonus if you have experience with small business marketing or artisanal/handmade products
  • It helps if you understand seasonal marketing campaigns and local market dynamics
