Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Social Media Marketing Assistant to support the execution of our digital marketing activities. This role is focused on implementation and will work closely with our internal stakeholders and external marketing providers to keep campaigns running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic B2B financial services environment.


Job Highlights

  • Paid Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm with 1 hour unpaid break | Australian Eastern Time
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content & Campaign Execution: Manage and schedule content across key social media platforms. Assist with the setup, monitoring, and basic optimization of Facebook and Google ad campaigns.
  • Performance & Coordination: Monitor budgets and track basic campaign performance metrics. Support CRM-driven marketing activities, including email campaign setup and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Collaboration & Support: Coordinate with external designers, content creators, and our marketing agency as required. Provide general digital marketing support to the team as needed, ensuring all marketing operations run efficiently.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a social media or digital marketing support role.
  • Practical, hands-on experience with paid advertising platforms (Facebook/Meta Ads and Google Ads).
  • Basic CRM experience (platform agnostic) for managing leads and supporting email campaigns.
  • Comfortable working with budgets and reporting on performance at a basic level.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and execution-focused with a keen attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.
