Job Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will be the creative and strategic force behind our clients. You will oversee all social media channels, develop content strategies, manage posting schedules, and drive engagement across platforms. Beyond execution, you’ll contribute directly to brand positioning, audience growth, and campaign performance.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, creative, and proactive—comfortable managing multiple digital initiatives while collaborating closely with the founder and internal teams.
Job Highlights
Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $6.80 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency
Schedule: Part-Time — 20 hours per week - Preferred fixed routine: 10am–2pm GMT
(Some flexibility available.)

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
● Develop plans, and execute monthly content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
● Create high-quality visual assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (graphics, simple videos, reels, carousels).
● Write captions, social copy, and micro-content tailored to each platform and audience.
Publishing & Management
● Schedule and publish posts consistently across all platforms.
● Manage daily operations of the company’s Instagram, Facebook Page, LinkedIn Profile, and other relevant platforms.
● Ensure brand tone, voice, and aesthetics remain consistent across all channels.
Community Engagement
● Monitor and respond to messages, comments, mentions, and follower interactions.
● Proactively foster an engaging and positive community experience.
● Maintain strong relationships with followers, clients, and key audience segments.
Growth & Strategy Development
● Provide recommendations on social media strategies that increase visibility, improve engagement, and support revenue streams with understanding on boosting strategies.
● Identify and reach out to relevant influencers, creators, and partnership opportunities.
● Research emerging trends, technologies, and content opportunities within the industry.
Analytics & Reporting
● Track performance metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, and follower growth.
● Prepare weekly or monthly reports highlighting results, insights, and action points.
● Suggest ongoing improvements based on data-driven insights.
Requirements
● Proven experience managing social media accounts professionally.
● Proven ability to create content (portfolio or samples required).
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and standard digital productivity tools.
● Experience managing accounts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
● Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Highly Regarded Skills & Experience
● Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
● Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout
Social, Metricool, etc.).
● Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
● Familiarity with social media SEO, storytelling techniques, and audience psychology.
● Understanding of analytics dashboards and performance metrics.
● Past experience in creative agencies, event venues, or similar industries is a plus.
● Ability to edit short-form videos (Reels/TikTok-style) is a strong advantage.
