Role: Social Media Creator & Manager

Priority Location: South Africa and the Philippines

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary Range: USD 2000 - 2500 per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

About The Role

You are the "engine" that turns the founders big ideas into a non-stop content machine. We have the ideas and the editors, but we need you to tie it all together. You will listen to founder conversations, find the best stories, and turn them into 30+ posts a month across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. This isnt just about getting "likes", its about building a professional brand that brings in real business. If you are a self-starter who can take a raw idea and turn it into a perfect post without being told what to do, this is your spot.

Key Responsibilities

Content Pipeline

  • Build and maintain a live content calendar across all three brands — two founders, one company.
  • Extract content ideas from founder conversations, calls, and voice notes. Turn thinking into posts.
  • Manage the flow from raw idea → script or copy → review → edit → publish → report.

Content Creation

  • Write captions, hooks, and post copy across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X. Write with intent — every word earns its place.
  • Repurpose long-form video and podcast content into short-form clips, carousels, and text posts.
  • Handle basic video edits and cuts. You wont do everything — we have editors — but you wont be blocked by simple tasks.
  • Create visual assets in Canva. Brief the Creative Strategist for anything beyond template work.

Publishing & Volume

  • Execute a minimum of 30 posts per month across all brands and platforms. This is the floor, not the ceiling.
  • Manage scheduling tools. Post goes live on time, every time.
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes and adapt the content approach accordingly.

Lead Magnets & Growth

  • Build and manage lead magnets that convert audience attention into email or DM leads.
  • Develop and run follower growth campaigns with clear audience targets.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track performance across every platform — reach, engagement, follower growth, click-through.
  • Build a simple monthly report that shows whats working, what isnt, and what were doing differently.
  • Improve output month over month. The reporting exists to feed better decisions, not to look busy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Were not hiring based on job titles. Were hiring based on what youve actually done. You need to show us evidence of the following:

  • 3-5 years working in a social media agency, in-house content team, or high-output creator environment.
  • A track record of growing social accounts — personal brands or company profiles. Bring the numbers.
  • Experience managing multi-brand or multi-account content at volume. Not one account. Multiple.
  • Confident use of Canva and basic video editing tools. You know how to cut a clip and build a carousel without asking for help.
  • Familiarity with scheduling platforms (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or similar).
  • Experience writing copy that performs — not copy that sounds good in a brief.
  • Ability to read platform analytics and translate them into decisions.

Bonus Qualifications & Skills

  • experience running LinkedIn content specifically, or building lead magnets that generated measurable results.

What Success Looks Like In 90 Days

  • The content calendar is never empty. There is always a 2-week buffer of planned, approved content ready to go.
  • 30+ posts have gone live every month without anyone chasing you to make it happen.
  • Both founders feel like their voice is captured accurately in their content — without them needing to write it themselves.
  • You have tested at least 3 different content formats or hooks and documented what the data showed.
  • There is a monthly performance report that tells a clear story — not just a spreadsheet of numbers.
  • At least one lead magnet is live and generating inbound interest.
  • You know what content is performing and why. You have a point of view on it.
