Social Media And Business Development Support

Job Description: You’ll be the operational backbone for a talented team of interior designers, freeing them to focus on what they do best while you handle the diverse mix of administrative, creative, and business development tasks that keep the business growing. This role offers incredible variety – from crafting engaging social media content to coordinating international material sourcing for luxury products. You’ll work directly with the design team and play a crucial role in supporting both their core interior design services and their exciting expansion into custom product manufacturing.

Job Highlights

• Hourly Rate: USD 6.85, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 20
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, anytime after 10 am SGT
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling social media content including blog posts and carousel scripts that showcase design projects
• Manage general administrative tasks to support the interior design team’s daily operations
• Conduct business development research and outreach to identify new opportunities
• Source premium materials internationally, particularly burl wood from Indonesia for custom product lines
• Coordinate shipping and logistics for international material procurement
• Support procurement activities beyond standard interior design supplies
• Handle diverse administrative tasks that arise as the business scales
• Collaborate directly with interior designers to understand project needs and priorities

Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills with excellent written comprehension and expression
• Experience creating social media content and managing online presence (portfolio is a must)
• Basic administrative and organizational capabilities
• Comfortable conducting research and international supplier outreach
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently across diverse task types
• Bonus if you have experience with logistics coordination or international shipping
• It helps if you’re familiar with luxury materials or interior design industry
