Job Overview

Our client is looking for a behind-the-scenes expert to keep their Shopify store running smoothly and looking sharp. Working with AI-powered tools and clear guidance from an experienced e-commerce team, you will handle product launches, optimize listings, update site content, and manage backend housekeeping that keeps the customer experience seamless. This is an internal operations role—no customer service required—where your attention to detail and Shopify expertise will directly impact product visibility and site performance.

Client Overview

Our client is a specialized e-commerce marketing agency managing online brands across multiple platforms. They are working with a growing dog apparel brand on Shopify that is expanding its product lines and scaling operations. This is a fully remote role supporting a brand that is investing in professional e-commerce management for the first time.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM AEST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Upload new products for launches including titles, descriptions, images, and collection assignments using AI-assisted tools.
• Optimize existing product listings to be more conversational and AI-friendly.
• Swap out website banners and promotional graphics when new campaigns go live.
• Generate blog content using AI tools and upload to the Shopify site.
• Draft or archive products based on inventory status and sales performance.
• Perform general backend housekeeping to keep the store organized and up to date.
• Update product details and descriptions as needed to improve clarity and searchability.
• Maintain consistency across collections, categories, and site navigation.

Requirements

• Shopify Expertise: Very strong Shopify admin experience with hands-on product management.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written English for crafting product titles and descriptions.
• AI Tool Proficiency: Comfortable working with AI tools to generate and refine content.
• Detail & Autonomy: High attention to detail for managing product data and site updates, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as processes are developed.
• Technical Setup: Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup.

Qualifications

• Experience working with e-commerce brands in the pet or apparel industry.
• Familiarity with Shopify apps and basic site customization.
• Experience optimizing product content for SEO or conversions.
