Job Title: Shopify E-commerce Merchandising Specialist

Location: Remote

Work Shift: Mountain Standard Time (MST – Utah, US)

Working Hours: Part-time; 15-20 hours per week

Job Description:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shopify E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to own day-to-day merchandising execution across our storefront. This role focuses on PDP accuracy, collection merchandising, product launches, bundle merchandising, and SKU lifecycle management within Shopify.

You’ll work closely with Operations to ensure inventory visibility and product availability remain accurate while helping maintain a high-performing merchandising experience in a fast-growing DTC apparel environment.

This role offers a clear growth path into an Ecommerce Manager position as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Detail Page (PDP) Management

• Create PDPs for new product launches
• Maintain PDP accuracy across pricing, images, SKUs, and copy
• Update product information during launches, promotions, and seasonal changes
• Create and manage bundle/pack PDPs using Shopify apps
• Ensure PDP consistency across the storefront

Collection Merchandising

• Merchandise collections based on product type, inventory levels, and priorities
• Maintain key collections including: Shop All, Best Sellers, Knee-High Compression, Medium Compression, Firm Compression, Shop Women’s, Shop Men’s
• Prioritize core products and bundles
• Feature high-inventory SKUs prominently
• Introduce seasonal products into collection placement during launches
• Limit variant duplication within collections

Inventory Coordination & SKU Lifecycle Management

• Monitor SKU inventory levels inside Shopify
• Flag low-inventory SKUs for lifecycle decisions (Core, End-of-Life, Final Sale)
• Coordinate with Operations on incoming inventory ETAs
• Ensure inventory syncing into Shopify is accurate
• Support SKU lifecycle decisions based on inventory and sales data

Qualifications

• Experience merchandising in Shopify-based DTC ecommerce
• Experience working with apparel brands with large SKU catalogs (200+ SKUs preferred)
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining PDPs
• Strong Shopify admin experience
• Experience with merchandising apps, bundling tools, or product apps
• Strong attention to detail and execution skills
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, lean teams

Nice to Have

• CRO experience
• Experience with Rebuy or similar tools
• Experience running merchandising tests or optimizing bundles
• Familiarity with ecommerce analytics/reporting tools
