POSTE / MISSIONS

The Project Manager coordinates every stages of the project and is responsible for the good reach of project objectives with regards to client satisfaction, project margin, quality, and planning as required by the Management.

The Project Manager works in good accordance with the companys project management procedure and its quality system in general terms. He / she is supported by the companys operational departments, as well as the group supporting bodies such as Basic Engineering, Strategic Procurement, etc… and coordinates their activities on the concerned project.

The Project Manager takes all required initiatives to preserve the interest of the project and of the company, he / she refers and consults with the company management as and when may be required.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

The project manager should

• Have Experience in project management and customer relationship
• Show a rigorous mind and good organisational capabilities,
• Elaborate planning, anticipate difficulties and recognize critical path
• Have a practical approach and develop proximity with the production teams
• Integrate the cost side of things in his actions or proposals, with an aim to limit costs and improve results
• Ensure regular project reporting toward his management, in all transparency
• Be a solution seeker and prove some common sense and a critical mind
• Be able to measure the impact of proposed modifications,
  
  

• Related professional standards, and good working practices
• Professional techniques, usual practices and shipbuilding methods
• Materials and equipment used in shipbuilding
• The ISO standard
• Contractual management methods.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Reactive and flexible in changing and high pressure environment
• Typically a master degree, equivalent to the French Engineering degree BAC+5, or a proven significant experience at equivalent position,
• Experience in Shipbuilding
