SEO Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to handle full-cycle SEO execution across multiple client accounts. This long-term role offers strong growth potential within a digital agency environment. You will manage client communication, produce optimized content, oversee website updates, and ensure successful delivery of SEO projects while following established internal processes.

Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: USD 1106

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday — 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mountain Time (includes a 30-minute paid break)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position under an Independent Contractor arrangement, candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are paid hourly and depend on performance during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Manage SEO strategies and performance for active client accounts
• Maintain direct communication with clients via Basecamp
• Perform on-page optimization using SurferSEO and SEOPress
• Publish and manage WordPress content
• Write and optimize one new article per website per month based on client direction
• Coordinate with clients for content approvals and feedback
• Oversee SEO projects from planning to delivery
• Manage website updates and ongoing content improvements
• Optimize and maintain Google My Business listings for multiple clients
• Write and schedule Google Business posts
• Generate and deliver SEO performance reports
• Follow established internal workflows and processes

Requirements

• Proven experience with SurferSEO, SEOPress, and WordPress
• Strong background in SEO implementation and content optimization
• Excellent written and spoken English for client communication
• Experience managing and optimizing Google My Business profiles
• Content writing experience with solid knowledge of SEO best practices
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Basecamp
• Ability to work independently while following structured processes
• Morning availability aligned with North American time zones
