SEO Legal Content Writer

Overview

We are looking for a versatile SEO Content Writer to produce high-quality, search-optimized content primarily focused on divorce and family law across various U.S. jurisdictions. You will be responsible for adapting tone and style for diverse industries while utilizing WordPress and Elementor to publish and format your work.

Monthly Rate:

• Equivalent of USD 1079/month in the applicants local currency

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Utah-Mountain time zone with a 1-hour unpaid break (8 hours per day/40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, SEO-optimized content for: Blog articles, Service pages, Landing pages, Practice area pages, and Long-form educational legal content
• Research and write state-specific legal content across multiple U.S. jurisdictions, ensuring clarity and compliance-friendly language (non-legal advice tone)
• Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices: Header structure (H1–H3), Title tags & meta descriptions, Internal linking, Keyword placement, and Schema markup considerations (when applicable)
• Adapt writing style and tone for: Law firms and legal professionals, Professional services, Firearms-related businesses, Local Utah businesses, and Other niche industries
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Web Designer, Social Media Manager, and SEO Specialist
• Publish, format, and update content directly in WordPress (Elementor required)
• Follow internal SOPs, content briefs, formatting standards, and SEO checklists
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, structure, and brand alignment
• Stay updated on evolving SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices
• Use AI writing tools responsibly to support research and efficiency without sacrificing originality or quality

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer (agency experience preferred)
• MUST HAVE SEO LEGAL WRITING EXPERIENCE
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor
• Ability to write in multiple tones and formats depending on industry and audience
• Familiarity with AI writing tools and ethical usage standards
• Exceptional attention to detail and formatting accuracy
• Ability to consistently follow SOPs and structured content briefs
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and deadline-driven

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
