SEO And PPC Manager

Overview

We are seeking a commercially focused SEO and PPC professional to drive high-quality lead generation for a UK-based estate agency. You will be responsible for executing local SEO strategies and managing paid campaigns across Google and Meta to outrank competitors and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a local SEO strategy to rank highly in the locations of Southport, Liverpool, Newcastle, and the surrounding areas
• Improve rankings for competitive estate agent–related keywords and outrank local competitors
• Carry out technical SEO audits and implement improvements (site speed, indexing, schema, errors)
• On-page SEO optimisation across service pages, blogs, and landing pages
• Content-led SEO strategy, including: Downloadable guides (lead magnets), Landing pages for landlords, developers, and vendors, Blog and evergreen content for organic growth
• Plan, run, and optimise paid campaigns on: Google Ads (search & display) and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
• Campaign objectives to include: Webinar registrations, Guide downloads/lead capture, and Website traffic that converts into enquiries
• Track, analyse, and report on performance, conversions, and ROI

Requirements

• Proven SEO experience in competitive local markets
• Experience with service-based businesses (property, legal, financial or similar preferred)
• Strong understanding of lead generation and conversion optimisation
• Able to work independently and take ownership of strategy
• Comfortable working to clear commercial KPIs
• Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar
• Basic CMS experience (WordPress preferred)
• Mid to senior level preferred; able to execute without heavy supervision

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional pay rate is based on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
