What You’ll Be Doing

As the Senior Management Accountant, you will report to an Australia-based manager and play a vital role in the finance team, collaborating closely with senior management to support the company’s financial success.

Key responsibilities include:

● Collaborating with key stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts

● Presenting financial results at management meetings

● Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS returns

● Managing external auditor relations and audit queries

● Partnering with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts

● Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed

What You’ll Bring

● 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors

● A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred)

● Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising

● Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable

● Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage

● Highly autonomous and self-motivated

● Process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills

● Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
