Senior E-commerce Manager 

 

Job Description 

This position is responsible for building and scaling Bielenda’s e-commerce business in the Philippines from the ground up - combining strategic vision, commercial leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing online marketplaces, a deep understanding of local e-commerce dynamics, and the ability to drive both growth and profitability. Success in this role will be measured by GMV growth, profitability, market share within key platforms, and brand visibility in the Philippine e-commerce ecosystem. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • develop and execute a long-term e-commerce growth strategy for the Philippine market, 
  • build and manage the channel mix strategy (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, D2C) in line with global brand objectives, 
  • conduct market and competitor analysis to identify category opportunities and pricing strategies, 
  • ownership of Ecommerce channel P&L to ensure sustainable profitability, 
  • manage pricing, promotions, assortment, and sales forecasting to deliver annual targets, 
  • develop and maintain strong partnerships with platforms, enablers, agencies, and distributors, 
  • plan and execute performance marketing, livestream commerce, affiliate programs, and KOL/KOC activations, 
  • collaborate with the regional marketing team to localize global campaigns and create high-performing digital content, 
  • track and analyze media ROI, conversion rates, and consumer engagement metrics, 
  • oversee store operations, fulfillment performance, and customer satisfaction, 
  • leverage platform analytics and consumer data to optimize product visibility, conversion, and retention, 
  • generate actionable insights to support both tactical execution and long-term strategic decisions. 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • at least 6  years of experience in e-commerce and/or digital trade, preferably in beauty or FMCG, 
  • proven experience in building an e-commerce business from scratch, 
  • deep understanding of Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop ecosystems in the Philippines, 
  • strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen, including P&L, GMV, margin, and investment efficiency management, 
  • data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into business decisions, 
  • strong existing network within the local e-commerce ecosystem (platforms, agencies, enablers), 
  • excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, 
  • solid knowledge of digital marketing, livestreaming, influencer marketing, and affiliate programs, 
  • excellent written and spoken English.
