Job Highlights:

  • Work Schedule: 8AM - 5 PM Pacific Time with one hour break.
  • Rate: Up to Php405 per hour approximately Php70,153 per month (to be paid on the selected candidates local currency)

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Bookkeeper to help us keep our financial work top-notch. In this role, you’ll review bookkeeping work, catch and fix any discrepancies, and guide our team on best practices. You’ll also get to help shape our processes by creating SOPs, training materials, and mentoring team members. Think of this role as part coach, part problem-solver, and part detail-checker. It’s perfect if you’re someone who’s precise, proactive, and enjoys helping others grow while still rolling up your sleeves and doing the work yourself.

We’re Moose Creek Bookkeeping—Colorado natives who now call the Pacific Northwest home. We specialize in bookkeeping and advisory services for the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Core Accounting & Bookkeeping Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple construction clients
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including preparing invoices and ensuring accuracy/approvals
  • Prepare sales and excise tax filings
  • Conduct month-end reviews and quality control
  • Assist with bookkeeping cleanups and catch-ups
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards
  • Create SOPs and process documentation (including video procedures)



Skills & Professional Qualities

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt throughout the day
  • Creative and resourceful problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new software systems quickly
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork; leadership skills are a plus



Technical Requirements & Experience

  • 2+ years managing multiple clients independently in QuickBooks Online
  • QuickBooks Online Certification required (Advanced preferred)
  • Strong understanding of cash vs. accrual accounting
  • Quiet, professional workspace for client and team meetings
  • Attend weekly virtual team meetings (Tuesdays at 10 AM PST)
