Our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform is seeking a SAP DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATIONS SME to join our team in The Philippines. In this position, The Development & Integration SME ensures the quality, scalability, and consistency of SAP ERP technical solutions across projects and operations. This role provides expert guidance on ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and integration topics, enforces best practices, promotes reusable components, and supports both delivery and operations teams.

What you’ll do

1. Design Assurance and Quality Reviews

• Validate technical designs to ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance with architecture principles.
• Perform non-binding technical reviews upon request to enhance quality and mitigate risks.

2. Technical Advisory Support

• Provide expert-level technical guidance to ABAP and Integration teams for complex scenarios.
• Interpret functional requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.
• Recommend best practices for ABAP developments, Fiori/UI5, and integration patterns.
• Act as a point of contact for high-impact technical questions across delivery and operations.

3. Best Practices and Standardization

• Contribute to guidelines, templates, and reusable components aligned with Build Manager standards.
• Ensure developments include proper error handling and follow coding standards.
• Promote a product-oriented approach, avoiding ad-hoc developments without strategic alignment.

4. Project Support (SAP Activate)

• Provide technical insight during all phases: Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Hypercare.
• Support GAP analysis, estimations, and SIT/UAT activities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Integration, ABAP, Functional teams, Data Migration, PMs, and Operations.
• Promote reuse of components and accelerate issue resolution across teams.

About you

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge on SAP ABAP and understanding on UI5 or SAP FIORI and SAP Integration suite or SAP PO.
• Experience in system integration and data migration.
• Proficiency with management tools (SAP Solution Manager, Jira, ITSM tools).
• Understanding of agile and traditional methodologies (Scrum, Waterfall).

Management Skills

• Project planning and control
• Stakeholder management and effective communication.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary Teams.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5-10 years as ABAP developer as part of SAP projects or Support
• Experience in end-to-end implementations.
• Participation in international or multicultural projects.
• Relevant certifications (SAP Certified, PMP, ITIL) are preferred but not required.
