Company: QualdocMFG

Location: Remote

Reports To: Director of Sales, North America

About QualdocMFG

QualdocMFG is a U.S.-based contract manufacturing and prototyping company that connects engineers, buyers, and OEMs with a vetted global supplier network. We deliver CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, 3D printing, and fabrication services across industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and industrial.

Our model is similar to Xometry — combining digital quoting, supplier quality management, and U.S.-based customer support — but with a stronger focus on technical collaboration and supplier development.

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated, articulate, and technically proficient Sales Representative to help grow QualdocMFG’s customer base in the U.S. market
  • The role is remote and based overseas but requires strong English communication, understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to build trust with U.S. engineering and procurement teams
  • You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and closing deals with customers who need prototype and production manufacturing services

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads within the U.S. industrial, aerospace, automotive, and defense markets
  • Communicate directly with U.S. customers via phone, video calls, and email — understanding their needs and providing tailored manufacturing solutions
  • Understand customer technical drawings, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials to accurately match projects with capable suppliers
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and supplier quality teams to ensure accurate quoting and successful project delivery
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: from lead generation and quoting to purchase order and follow-up
  • Maintain CRM data, prepare weekly reports, and track pipeline activity
  • Represent QualdocMFG’s brand professionally and build long-term customer relationships

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills — able to interact confidently with U.S. engineers and buyers
  • Solid technical understanding of CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, 3D printing, and related manufacturing processes
  • Prior experience in manufacturing sales, sourcing, or supplier management (preferred: experience with companies like Xometry, Protolabs, or Fictiv)
  • Ability to read and discuss engineering drawings (GD&T, tolerances, materials, finishes)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Experience working across time zones and managing communication with U.S.-based clients
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Experience coordinating between international suppliers and U.S. customers
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary + performance-based commission
  • Flexible work hours (aligned with partial U.S. business hours)
  • Opportunity for long-term growth with a U.S.-based advanced manufacturing company
