Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to support business growth by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving revenue in the traffic control services industry. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to collaborate closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Growth

  • Identify and secure new clients through networking, referrals, bid platforms, and market research.
  • Prospect, negotiate, and close business to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and manage a diverse sales pipeline aligned with company strategy.
  • Execute sales strategies and positioning plans set by senior leadership.

Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations.
  • Maintain regular client contact throughout the sales cycle to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Conduct check-ins and monitor client satisfaction to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster long-term relationships to secure continuous growth and retention.

Sales Execution & Account Management

  • Provide pricing proposals, negotiate service agreements, and prepare bids and RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Collaborate with Dispatch, Operations, and TMP teams to align service delivery with client needs.
  • Track and report performance metrics, sales activities, and pipeline health to senior management.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies.
  • Manage CRM data daily to track leads, opportunities, and outcomes.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and maintain accurate records of all sales activities.


Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or account management (construction or traffic services industry preferred).
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or related field considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software, Microsoft 365, and other sales tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
