As a Sales and Estimator Assistant, you’ll play a key role in bridging technical expertise and client engagement. You’ll use your background in engineering or construction to assess projects, generate accurate estimates, and support customers throughout the pre-construction process. Working closely with the business owner, you’ll gain hands-on experience with advanced digital estimation tools while helping to streamline operations and drive business growth. Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $6.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40h per week -

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30-16:30 - CDT

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer inquiries with technical expertise and schedule estimate appointments
• Conduct detailed property assessments using Google satellite imagery and construction knowledge
• Perform precise measurements of fence lines and project areas using satellite analysis tools
• Provide comprehensive estimates based on satellite analysis combined with your construction expertise
• Collect and organize detailed customer information and technical project specifications
• Prepare detailed technical reports with measurements and professional recommendations
• Determine when on-site visits are required for complex projects and communicate technical requirements
• Support estimation needs across two related construction companies
• Apply your engineering or construction background to ensure estimate accuracy
• Guide customers through technical aspects of their projects with confidence

Requirements

• Engineering background or significant experience in construction or estimation.
• Excellent English communication skills, with a clear and professional phone presence.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and willingness to learn satellite imagery analysis.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate estimating.
• Availability to work 9 AM – 5 PM Central Time on a consistent schedule.
• Bonus: Experience in contracting, construction management, or related technical fields.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Enjoys client interaction and providing high-quality customer service.
