You’ll be the administrative backbone supporting critical sales operations in an environmentally-focused business that’s actively making a difference. This role offers the perfect blend of meaningful work and professional growth, where your organizational skills directly contribute to successful waste collection and recycling operations. You’ll work closely with the sales director to ensure seamless fulfillment processes while maintaining the high standards of customer service that drive this company’s success.


Job Highlights

  • Paid Hours per Week: 35
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid break | U.K Time
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales director with essential administrative tasks and fulfillment coordination
  • Monitor and verify truck arrivals, loading processes, and delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage comprehensive paperwork systems and ensure waste producers receive accurate documentation
  • Process invoices and generate purchase orders with attention to detail and timeliness
  • Provide real-time responses to customer emails and communications during UK business hours
  • Identify operational problems early and coordinate resolution efforts
  • Oversee administrative processes for successful waste collection and disposal operations
  • Maintain organized records and tracking systems for all sales and fulfillment activities


Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with proven attention to detail
  • Ability to respond to customer communications promptly and professionally
  • Experience with invoicing, purchase orders, and general business administration
  • Reliable internet connection and proper home office setup for remote work
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bonus if you have experience in logistics, supply chain, or environmental services
  • It helps if you’re familiar with waste management or recycling industry processes
