Job Description

As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a bustling dining establishment, ensuring that both the staff and customers are satisfied at all times. Your expertise in managing Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations will drive a seamless dining experience for guests, from the moment they make a reservation to their post-dinner departure. You'll be tasked with organizational logistical challenges in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of food service, customer care, and hygiene. Your leadership skills will be paramount as you supervise a diverse team, manage inventories, resolve customer inquiries, and work closely with chefs to deliver exceptional dining service. Aligning operations with business goals while emphasizing customer satisfaction is central to your role.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage and mentor restaurant staff to uphold service and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with chefs to update and design menus based on seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitary regulations at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishments.
  • Establish and monitor financial goals to ensure profitability and cost controls.
  • Plan and manage special events, including private parties and themed dinners.
  • Implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and improve customer loyalty.
  • Analyze customer feedback and generate reports for continuous service improvement.
  • Handle administrative duties, including staff scheduling and payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or proven relevant restaurant experience.
  • Minimum of three years managerial experience within a high-volume restaurant.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing successful hospitality teams.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills to enhance guest experiences.
  • Ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and improve restaurant profitability.
  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends and industry best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address unpredictable restaurant challenges.
