Residential Revit Drafter

Company Overview:

Our client is a premier design studio specializing in high-end modern residential and hospitality projects. They are passionate about creating sophisticated, functional, and beautifully detailed spaces.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect with a strong background in residential single-family homes to join their growing team. This role involves working closely with their design team to develop complete sets of construction documents for high-end residential projects.

Job Highlights:

• Hourly Rate: USD 5, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Los Angeles, CA
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to produce comprehensive construction document sets for residential projects.
• Translate design concepts into detailed, build-able plans that align with client goals and local building codes.
• Independently manage the development of full plan sets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders as needed.
• Contribute to the refinement and advancement of design standards and documentation processes.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in residential single-family home design and documentation.
• Expert proficiency in Revit with the ability to produce high-quality construction documents efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Ability to work independently and proactively while also taking direction from senior team members.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture.
• Licensure is a plus but not required.
