Job Description

Job Title: Remote Client Acquisition Specialist

The Ideal Candidate:

You’re a business development professional in the recruitment/staffing or BPO/RPO/outsourcing industry with B2B experience selling into the BC Canada market, or comparable developed markets in the USA, UK, EU, AU or similar.

Not constrained by a one-size-fits-all pitch, you bring an innovative and open-mind, comfortable tailoring value propositions by ICP and buying stage. You’re a charismatic, persuasive salesperson, confident speaker and presenter, and a natural relationship builder who can engage and influence owners and hiring managers, credibly translating their needs into a compelling product and service offering.

You value freelance, consultative, project-based work alongside your current commitments.

Summary of the Role:

The Remote Client Acquisition Specialist brings our recruitment services to the BC market from your remote base by sharpening our ICP targeting and messaging, executing targeted outreach to net-new prospects, leveraging your established experience and relationships selling into developed markets to create warm introductions, book qualified first meetings, and facilitate the signing of client contracts with our co-founders to move opportunities from discovery through proposal. Given our contingency based, non-exclusive recruitment model you’ll be positioning a low risk, low friction and compelling offer to prospects to get started with us. You will be expected to quickly master our evolving marketing and sales materials, including our core presentation, and use them to support strategic outbound such as custom Loom recordings and other tailored outreach.

Collaboration primarily occurs over scheduled Zoom meetings as availability aligns with you, our CEO, Sales Manager, co-founders, operations manager, and supporting assistants.

A typical week blends high-intent outreach with collaborative time together—scheduling and hosting intro/discovery calls, facilitating warm introductions, and hopping on Zoom with our co-founders to trade notes, share a little friendly banter, and brainstorm best-practice tactics while refining pitch materials and talk tracks.

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: 100,000 - 150,000 PHP monthly including commission.
  • Hourly Work – You will be paid an hourly rate for project based work that is not tied to Client Acquisition including: Internal meetings, reporting, CRM management, collaborative knowledge transfer, marketing material development, etc.
  • Outcome Based Fees – Client Acquisition
  • For each client you introduce and sign within SLAs, you will be paid a fixed for: Client Agreements
  • No Benefits: This is an independent contractor role; therefore, no additional benefits are provided.

Work Schedule & Availability:

  • Estimated Weekly Hours: 30-40 based on company needs and workload.
  • Flexible Hours: Structure your workday and week as you see fit, while ensuring successful outcomes and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Meetings & Communication: Coordinate overlapping availability for meetings with stakeholders as needed.

About Us:

We run a transparent, data-driven recruitment process that empowers key decision-makers to hire with facts — not feelings, ensuring company and candidate achieve a durable, mutually productive fit.

We’re growing our geographically diverse, remote team of analytical professionals to transform the traditional recruitment model from an opaque, biased and subjective evaluation of fit into one rooted in transparency, merit, and objective best-fit between client and candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Positioning & ICP Sharpening: Pressure-test our ICP and talk tracks; suggest refinements to messaging, objections, and proof points specific to BC buyer personas and based on your experience selling services from offshore/BPO environments into developed markets.
  • Outbound & Pipeline: Leverage your network and experience serving developed-market clients to execute targeted and tailored outreach including: Looms, emails, LinkedIn, calls, etc. to build a lead generation pipeline of qualified prospects and progress them to discovery. Ensure qualified prospects are authorized signatories that can procure recruitment services, such as: an owner, executive, hiring manager or similar senior role.
  • Introduction Meetings: Host/Co-host discovery meetings with our co-founder(s) and qualified prospects. Present and persuade prospects with our marketing materials and value proposition, laying the foundation for successful client agreements.
  • Client Agreements: Facilitate the acquisition of qualified client signatures with our co-founder(s) through effective communication tactics and coordination. Align stakeholders on next steps, and remove friction to signature—positioning our offering clearly and compellingly.
  • CRM Logs: Maintain accurate activity logs, notes and next steps for all client acquisition and business development opportunities ensuring seamless insights, handoff and integration with our internal team.

Expectations:

Before any project work, we’ll present our product and objective recruiting service model. This brief orientation is a two-way fit check: we confirm you understand how we operate, and you assess whether—and how—you can add value.

  • Stakeholder-Facing Professionalism: Conduct all stakeholder video meetings and candidate interviews in business-appropriate attire, from a well-organized, well-lit, confidential, distraction-free workspace, using a high-resolution camera and high-fidelity audio. The background must be real and professional—no bedrooms, shared spaces, clutter, people, virtual backgrounds, or blur effects.
  • High Communication Standards: Provide regular updates and respond to messages promptly. Communicate clearly with attention to grammar, spelling, and detail, ensuring timely follow-ups. Ask clarifying questions to ensure mutual understanding and alignment of expectations.
  • Timesheet & Invoicing: Maintain and submit an accurate timesheet on days worked that itemizes tasks, projects, and billable hours to ensure transparency and alignment with your invoicing.
  • Flexibility & Collaboration: As a startup in a dynamic phase, we may pivot tactics or evolve offerings. We need you to be flexible, collaborative, and comfortable adapting as we refine our approach. We’re letting you know upfront that change is likely, and we expect a positive, solution-oriented collaborative approach as we navigate this together.
  • Virtual Meeting Recordings: Provide your reasonable consent to host and participate in recorded virtual meetings with our stakeholders when applicable for various business purposes including: meetings, presentations, demonstrations, instructions, and briefings, knowledge transfer, and other general business purposes. If hosting recorded meetings, you must acquire explicit consent from meeting participants before recording them.
  • Collaborative Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with the Operations team to systematically transfer your evolving insights, tactics, and processes, enabling their creation and refinement of robust documentation including: SOPs, guidelines and workflows that support repeatable and scalable outcomes.

Requirements:

MANDATORY

  • Business Development Track Record: Verifiable success originating and/or closing more than 20 client accounts for recruitment/staffing or adjacent B2B services in British Columbia Canada or comparable developed markets in the USA, UK, EU, AU, etc.
  • IC-Ready: No restrictive covenants that prevent client Introduction Meetings and Client Agreements; willing to sign IC agreement + NDA.
  • LinkedIn Network Depth - Maintains a professional and active LinkedIn profile that shows a visible first-degree connection count of ≥ 500.
  • Professional Workspace or Home Office: You have a dedicated, quiet, well-lit, and confidential workspace with reliable high-speed internet, a high-resolution webcam, and high-fidelity audio suitable for professional video calls. The background must be real and professional—no bedrooms, shared spaces, clutter, people, virtual backgrounds, or blur effects.

PREFERRED

  • Presentation & Creative Work Samples: Able to provide 2–3 concrete examples of client-facing materials you were instrumental in creating and used in B2B acquisition (e.g., Loom recordings, sales presentations, outreach sequences, or similar assets) that demonstrate persuasive communication and creative competence.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Work-Management Platform: Proficient in ClickUp or a comparable tool (e.g., Asana, Monday, Jira, etc.).
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting Exposure: Management or hands-on experience across sourcing → screening → offer/close to speak credibly about timelines, risks, and ROI.
  • Contingency/Non-Exclusive Experience: Has sold or operated in contingency, non-exclusive B2B sales models.
  • BC Talent Market Knowledge: Working knowledge of BC talent pools and common SMB channels; can outline practical search strategies.
