Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or nurse practitioners.
• Develop nursing care strategies for individual patients to meet specific needs.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of each patient's medical history.
• Consult with doctors and other multidisciplinary professionals to create patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Prepare and assist in clinical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are observed.
• Respond quickly to patient emergencies, providing appropriate interventions promptly.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and student nurses during their rotations.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and medical charting as required by facility protocols.
• Promote a supportive and nurturing environment for patients and staff alike.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted state RN license with a good standing record.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not mandatory for application.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to providing empathetic patient care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced credentials a plus.
