Job Description

A Recruitment Officer plays a critical role in the staffing and hiring processes of an organization. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Source potential candidates using a variety of recruitment methodologies.
  • Conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates and hiring teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on candidates, interviews, and recruitment processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and job fair organizers.
  • Use social media and professional networks to enhance candidate engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and equal employment opportunity standards.
  • Prepare and extend job offers, including negotiating terms with candidates.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to candidates and hiring managers post-interview.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to improve and refine recruitment practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer or in a similar role for two years.
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and various interview techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and management levels.
  • Proficiency in using HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for this role.
