Job Role: Real Estate Video Editor

Compensation range: $1,600 - $2,400 AUD/month

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.


Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.


Who The Client Is: Our client is a creative content and strategy agency that partners with brands across industries like real estate, e-commerce, recruitment, and construction. They focus on producing engaging visual campaigns, from digital ads and social media content to branded videos and recruitment materials that blend creativity and strategy to tell compelling stories and deliver real results.


Role Overview: We’re looking for a Video Editor with a sharp eye for storytelling and a deep understanding of brand-driven visuals, someone who can take raw footage and turn it into engaging, high-quality video content. While much of your work will centre on real estate marketing videos (property showcases, agent profiles, community features), you’ll also work across various industries, producing content for social media campaigns, digital ads, and corporate storytelling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce professional video content for real estate listings, agent promos, lifestyle features, and brand campaigns.
  • Edit wedding films with emotional flow, pacing, and strong music synchronisation.
  • Edit commercial interview content with a polished and professional finish.
  • Perform colour grading, audio balancing, and transitions that enhance storytelling.
  • Collaborate with producers, videographers, and clients to deliver on creative briefs.
  • Manage timelines and deliver multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain organised file management and version control for each project.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio that demonstrates emotional storytelling and music sync.
  • Strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong attention to pacing and rhythm with music.
  • Understanding of the music and song selection.
  • Excellent grasp of pacing, emotion, and rhythm in storytelling.
  • Good understanding of colour grading, sound design, and visual composition.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
  • Ability to take creative direction, provide input, and maintain clear communication throughout the editing process.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
