Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Generalist

Location: Remote (LATAM / South Africa preferred)

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Must overlap with U.S. business hours (PST preferred)

Overview

We are seeking a well-rounded RCM Generalist with strong exposure across the back-end of the revenue cycle, including claims, denials, accounts receivable, and payment workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the full claims lifecycle and can flex across multiple functions—supporting denials resolution, A/R follow-ups, and payment reconciliation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple areas of the back-end RCM workflow, including:
• Claims follow-up
• Denials review and basic appeals support
• A/R management
• Payment reconciliation
• Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies and underpayments
• Follow up with payers on outstanding or problematic claims
• Assist in identifying denial trends and root causes
• Maintain accurate documentation across all claim activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth claim resolution
• Support process improvements across billing and collections workflows
  

• 3+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare RCM
• Hands-on experience across at least 2-3 of the following areas:
• Denials management
• Claims follow-up
• Accounts receivable
• Payment posting or reconciliation
• Strong understanding of:
• EOBs / ERAs
• Insurance workflows
• Claim lifecycle (submission → adjudication → payment)
• Ability to work cross-functionally (not siloed in front-end only)
• Excellent English communication skills

• Exposure to both denials and A/R workflows
• Experience working with multiple payer systems
