Job Overview

You’ll own the financial backbone of a thriving multi-company operation, ensuring accurate bookkeeping across diverse business sectors. This isn’t your typical single-company bookkeeping role – you’ll gain valuable experience managing finances for real estate, construction, and security operations while working directly with leadership who appreciates professional expertise. You’ll have the autonomy to manage comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities while contributing to the continued growth of established, profitable businesses.

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $6.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm MST with an hour unpaid break

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes across multiple business entities
• Perform comprehensive bank and account reconciliations for diverse operations
• Execute accurate data entry for financial transactions across all company divisions
• Classify and categorize transactions appropriately within QuickBooks Online
• Maintain organized financial records for real estate, construction, and security business operations
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes across multiple entities
• Collaborate directly with business ownership on financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper (experienced professionals preferred, not entry-level)
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple business entities or complex operations
• Excellent attention to detail for data entry and transaction classification
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and reconciliation processes
• Bonus if you have experience in real estate, construction, or service industry bookkeeping
