Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis to support an expanding client portfolio. This is a remote position offering flexible scheduling, ideal for a skilled professional who can work independently and manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently. The role offers potential for growth to full-time hours as the business continues to scale.


Client Overview

The client operates a growing bookkeeping services business that launched in January 2024, serving multiple clients with professional accounting solutions. The business is experiencing rapid growth with an increasing client base and requires additional support to scale operations effectively.


Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 AM EST, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using QuickBooks and other accounting software platforms
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Process monthly reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly categorized and recorded
  • Prepare financial reports and statements as needed for client review
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of all bookkeeping deliverables


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (QuickBooks Pro certification strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience with additional accounting software platforms such as Xero, NetSuite, or Odoo
  • Previous experience working in a client-facing bookkeeping or accounting services environment

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
