Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable QuickBooks Bookkeeper to support two growing mental health practices. This is a dual-role position where you will dedicate 10 hours per week to each organization to ensure financial records are accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily financial entries for both practices
  • Maintain and organize the General Ledger within QuickBooks Online
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards to ensure every penny is accounted for
  • Monitor incoming payments from insurance/private pay and manage practice-related expenses
  • Ensure all documentation is organized for year-end tax preparation


Requirements

  • QuickBooks Expertise (Required): You must have proven experience navigating QuickBooks We need someone who can hit the ground running without basic software training
  • Attention to Detail: In the world of healthcare, precision matters. You should be someone who catches the small discrepancies before they become big ones
  • Confidentiality: Experience handling sensitive financial data (familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare environments is a huge plus)
  • Self-Starter: Since this is a flexible, part-time role, you should be comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines without constant supervision



Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional pay rate is based on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
