They’re experiencing rapid growth and need dedicated financial support to streamline their QuickBooks operations and bring their books current. Job Highlights

  • Hourly Rate: USD 6.30, the equivalent in your local currency
  • Paid Hours per Week: 20-25 hours per week) with potential to scale based on performance and business need

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Job Description:

You’ll step into a critical role supporting a high-volume construction operation that values quality and growth. This position offers the perfect blend of immediate impact, catching up on backlogged work, and long-term development as you help optimize financial processes for a multi-million dollar business. You’ll work directly with QuickBooks to manage complex construction accounting while having the flexibility to expand your responsibilities as you demonstrate your value.



Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile credit card transactions and two separate bank accounts in QuickBooks
  • Process invoices and perform accurate data entry for high-volume transactions
  • Categorize expenses and income correctly to specific construction projects
  • Handle invoicing tasks and ensure timely billing processes
  • Catch up on approximately one month of backlogged bookkeeping work
  • Maintain organized financial records across multiple business entities
  • Support project tracking and financial reporting as needed
  • Collaborate with office staff to streamline financial workflows


Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks (certification not required but expertise essential)
  • Experience with construction or project-based accounting preferred
  • Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes efficiently ($4-5M revenue level)
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong reconciliation and organizational skills
  • Experience managing financial records for growing businesses
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Bonus if you have experience with multi-entity bookkeeping
  • It helps if you’re comfortable with potential role expansion into billing and project management
