Tellos helps ABA therapists start and grow their own independent practices. We handle everything from insurance credentialing and billing to RBT staffing, scheduling, and family onboarding so providers can focus on delivering exceptional care to children with autism.
We’re scaling fast across multiple states and payers, and we’re looking for a meticulous, systems-driven Credentialing Specialist who can own our payer enrollment and credentialing process end-to-end.
What You’ll Own
Lead Credentialing Across States
Own end-to-end credentialing as we expand into new markets.
Research payer requirements by state and line of business (Medicaid, commercial, MCOs).
Prepare and submit enrollment packets, manage deadlines, and proactively escalate blockers.
Build detailed, state-specific credentialing playbooks so the process is repeatable and scalable.
Manage Group and Individual Enrollments
Coordinate initial group enrollments for Tellos with each payer.
Onboard each BCBA and RBT under the group umbrella once approved.
Maintain active provider rosters, ensuring no lapse in credentials.
Track expirations, revalidations, and renewals with precision.
Build Transparent Systems
Develop and maintain a central credentialing tracker that logs status, payer timelines, and blockers.
Keep a live dashboard that shows leadership where each provider and state stands at all times.
Forecast provider go-live dates based on payer timelines and approval stages.
Eliminate Downtime
Ensure no provider sits idle due to credentialing delays.
Align forecasted start dates with payer approvals.
Where delays are expected, propose temporary solutions (e.g., single-case agreements, alternative payer panels) to prevent interruptions in care delivery.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing or payer enrollment (ABA, mental health, or allied health preferred).
Strong understanding of payer contracting, NPI, CAQH, Medicaid, and commercial credentialing processes.
Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple state timelines at once.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills proactive, not reactive.
Comfortable building systems, trackers, and processes that others can follow.
