Piping Supervisor (Rolling Mill / Hydraulic Systems)

Working Location: Philippines (site-based)

Contract Type: Expected 4 month assignment

Project Context

Seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor to support a rolling mill project in the Philippines. The role focuses on supervising the installation of piping systems and, where applicable, supporting the startup and commissioning of hydraulic systems, including hydraulic pump units and valve setup in the field.

The ideal candidate will have strong on-site supervisory experience within rolling mill or metallurgical plant projects and the technical capability to support both mechanical installation and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise piping installation activities on site
• Ensure piping works are executed according to project specifications, drawings, and safety standards
• Coordinate and guide contractors and installation teams during erection works
• Support hydraulic systems activities, including:Participate in commissioning activities when skilled and assigned
• Start-up of hydraulic pump units
• Field setup and adjustment of hydraulic valves
• Interface with site management, commissioning teams, and client representatives
• Ensure progress, quality, and safety requirements are maintained throughout the assignment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor on rolling mill or metallurgical plant projects
• Strong background in mechanical erection of piping systems
• Hydraulic systems knowledge is strongly preferred, including:Ability to work independently in an international site environment
• Hydraulic pump unit start-up
• Valve setup and tuning on site
• Willingness and availability for immediate deployment to the Philippines
