Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Service Representative (Spanish Bilingual) to join our growing healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at communication, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences — all while seamlessly switching between English and Spanish.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients through phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and update patient information and medical records
  • Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and empathy
  • Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Assist with billing, insurance verification, and payment processing
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Patient Service Representative or in a related healthcare administrative role specializing in Gastroenterology
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, EMR/EHR software, and basic office tools
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure


Work-from-Home Device Requirement:

  • Device: Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
  • Internet: Wired connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed, plus a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or prepaid Wi-Fi)
  • Work Environment: Quiet, well-lit space with minimal background noise
