Role: P&C Actuaries

Location: Remote

We are hiring experienced P&C actuarial professionals to support analytical workflows including reserving, pricing, and regulatory filing preparation. This role is ideal for actuaries skilled in loss development, trend selection, and large-loss analytics.

What You’ll Do

• Build and analyze paid and incurred loss triangles
• Calculate development factors and estimate ultimate losses & IBNR
• Perform rate indications, trending, and premium on-leveling
• Conduct large-loss load analyses using capping and truncation
• Prepare reserve exhibits and filing-ready workpapers
• Document methods, assumptions, and actuarial judgments clearly

What You Bring

• 5+ years in P&C actuarial roles
• Experience with lines such as WC, Auto, GL, or Umbrella
• Hands-on skills with Arius, ResQ, R ChainLadder, or similar tools
• Strong Excel modeling ability
• Understanding of insurance data sources and systems
• Clear, structured technical communication skills

Role Details

• Remote & asynchronous
• 30+ hours per week
• ~6-week engagement
• Independent contractor position

Compensation

• $60–100 per hour
• Weekly payments
