Oracle EBS Functional Support Consultant

NRI is seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Functional Consultant to join our Oracle practice. This role is focused on supporting and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite environments, with mandatory experience in Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) and additional exposure to Finance and/or Supply Chain modules.
 
Reporting to the Oracle ERP Solutions Lead, you will work as part of a collaborative, agile delivery team enhancing and supporting enterprise NRI across Oracle E-Business Suite and, over time, Oracle Fusion Applications.
 
While Oracle Fusion experience is desirable, it is not mandatory, NRI will provide structured training and support to enable the successful consultant to develop Oracle Fusion skills and obtain certifications.
 
The role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work on complex, business-critical Oracle environments while developing future-ready cloud capabilities.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional services (projects and support) for Oracle E-Business Suite, with a strong focus on Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS).
• Provide project and support services for additional Oracle EBS modules across Finance (GL, AP, AR, Assets, etc.) and/or Supply Chain as applicable.
• Knowledge of project methodologies and ITIL-aligned support processes, including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
• Analyse incidents and recurring issues to identify root causes and recommend permanent fixes.
• Manage functional enhancements through structured change and release processes.
• Engage with business and IT stakeholders to understand operational issues, service priorities, and improvement opportunities.
• Design, configure, and support improvements to business processes and system functionality.
• Participate in functional testing, deployments, and transition-to-support activities.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation in line with governance, audit, and support requirements.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives, including knowledge base development and service optimisation.
• Work collaboratively with onshore and offshore team members within an agile, managed services delivery model.
• Over time, support Oracle Fusion Applications as part of NRI-led transformation and managed services engagements.

• 5+ years of strong, hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, including mandatory experience in Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS).
• Experience implementing and supporting Oracle EBS modules in Finance and/or Supply Chain.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end warehouse, inventory, and supply chain business processes.
• Proven experience working in ITIL-based support environments, including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
• Experience in functional support, enhancement, or implementation of Oracle EBS in complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to analyse business issues, identify root causes, and design effective, sustainable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users and technical teams.
• Experience working in structured managed services or application support models.
• Comfortable working in agile teams and distributed delivery models (onshore/offshore).
