Job Description

You’ll be the operational backbone supporting multiple high-growth businesses, working directly with an experienced entrepreneur who believes in empowering team members to think critically and take initiative. This isn’t your typical VA role – you’ll be trusted to figure things out, solve problems independently, and drive results across e-commerce, fintech, and executive services. You’ll help manage the controlled chaos of a multi-business operation while contributing to exciting launches and scaling initiatives


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $6.36 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: 30 hours per week with potential to scale to full-time. Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm PST

Client Timezone: Pacific Time (Vancouver)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across fractional COO services, e-commerce brand launch, and payment gateway platform
  • Assist with team coordination and communication across marketing, web development, customer service, and fulfillment teams
  • Help prioritize and manage high-volume daily communications and message flow
  • Support the January launch and ongoing operations of a red light therapy device e-commerce brand
  • Assist with payment gateway platform operations and merchant onboarding processes
  • Handle back-office administrative tasks and process improvements across all business verticals
  • Utilize AI tools and systems to enhance work quality and operational efficiency
  • Take initiative on problem-solving and process optimization with minimal supervision


Requirements

  • Proven experience using ChatGPT or other AI-based systems as part of your regular workflow
  • Strong autonomous work style with ability to figure out solutions independently
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in e-commerce operations, business support, or similar fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work with minimal micromanagement and direction
  • Self-starter mentality with high initiative and ownership mindset
  • Bonus if you have experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • It helps if you have exposure to payment processing, fintech, or direct response marketing
