Job Description

The Mall Operations Assistant 13N25 plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of mall operations. This dynamic position involves a blend of administrative, customer service, and operational duties to support the mall operations manager in maintaining optimal function and performance of the shopping center. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and ever-changing retail environment. This role requires strong communication skills to interact effectively with tenants, customers, vendors, and fellow employees. A proactive approach and a passion for customer service are key to thriving in this role, as you will be one of the primary points of contact for issues relating to mall operations, helping to ensure that the mall offers a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for all visitors.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure mall functions smoothly.
  • Coordinate and communicate with tenants regarding operations and service requests.
  • Ensure effective handling and resolution of customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Support the development and execution of promotional activities and events.
  • Monitor facility conditions and coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
  • Compile and maintain records related to operations, including incident reports.
  • Assist with scheduling security and maintenance personnel according to needs.
  • Conduct regular operational audits to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Report any safety hazards or security issues to management for immediate action.
  • Help manage inventory and order necessary supplies for mall operations.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to enhance customer experience programs.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in retail or mall operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
